Dr Ryan graduated from the NTU-Imperial College Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Singapore, in 2019. During his post-graduate years, he has rotated through and gained experience in disciplines including Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine.
His interests lie in performing simple office procedures and primary disease prevention.
Dr Matthew graduated from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2013 and attained his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2022. He has acquired a breath of experience in Orthopedic Surgery, Geriatric Medicine and Pediatrics Medicine during his time working in the public health sector.
His interest lies in diagnosis and management of sports-related conditions and injuries. His personal core values are of excellent patient care, compassion, honesty.
Dr Lee graduated from Malayan University in 2012, and has been practising in Singapore since 2012. He has accrued a wide surgical experience during his stint in the public health care sector particularly in Hand Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery.
He believes in evidence-based medicine, and aims to bring contemporary knowledge in line with practicality, to daily practices, for patients’ best interest.
Dr Jay graduated from NTU-Imperial College Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Singapore, in 2019. His experiences while working in the public health sector include Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery.
His current interests lie in Paediatric health and Chronic Disease management. Dr Jay believes in improving health through patient empowerment and strives to deliver the best care for his patients.
Dr Ignatius graduated from University of Bristol, UK in 2014 and attained his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2022. Prior to joining HeartlandHealth, he has worked in the public health sector with experiences in General Surgery, Emergency Medicine and Ophthalmology.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, running and HIIT.
Dr Ignatius graduated from University of Bristol, UK in 2014 and attained his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2022. Prior to joining Heartland Health, he has worked in the public health sector with eperiences in General Surgery, Emergency Medicine and Ophthalmology.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, running and HIIT.
Wesley Chee is the Chairman & Founder of AspenHealth, an integrated healthcare services group providing primary and allied healthcare services in Singapore. The Group operates a wide network of clinics providing primary medical care under the HeartlandHealth brand, as well as physiotherapy and podiatry services under the Physio & Sole Clinic. The Group also runs the Women and Children Centre offering a comprehensive range of physiotherapy and podiatry services for all issues related to obstetrics and gynaecology as well as paediatric musculoskeletal and dermatological conditions. It also provides home visit jaundice check up services for newborn babies under JaundiceBaby.
Wesley graduated with a Master Degree in Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2010 after receiving a postgraduate scholarship from Changi General Hospital. He was a Sports Physiotherapist at Changi Sports Medicine Centre, Singapore Sports Medicine Centre and private practice, before co-founding Physio & Sole Clinic in 2013. Under his leadership, Physio & Sole Clinic has grown rapidly to become one of the largest Physiotherapy and Podiatry clinic chains in Singapore.
In 2020, Wesley started HeartlandHealth, a chain of medical clinics focused on providing high quality, accessible and affordable primary healthcare services to the heartlands of Singapore.
Despite his successes as an entrepreneur in the healthcare arena, Wesley remains highly passionate about his work as a physiotherapist, where he continues to see his patients at Physio & Sole Clinic, as its Director and Chief Sports Physiotherapist. He specialises in the treatment of Sports & Musculoskeletal injuries and has special interest in treating runners and patients with shoulder problems. He is a highly experienced physiotherapist who has worked with the U16 and U17 national teams from the Football Association of Singapore and was involved as a physiotherapist in the inaugural Asian Youth Games held in Singapore in 2009. Wesley has also provided sports physiotherapy and on-field coverage for numerous sports including Australian Rules Football, Cricket and Soccer.
In addition to his clinical work, Wesley is passionate about teaching young physiotherapists and has experience as a Clinical Adjunct Lecturer at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, Singapore Institute Of Technology.
He exercises regularly and is a firm believer in preventing injuries through customised exercises for the individuals.
Dr Lim Kai Hung graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2010. Being interested in the field of family medicine, he went on to pursue his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (National University of Singapore) in 2014. He also has special interest in dermatology and obtained his post graduate diploma in practical dermatology from Cardiff University, Wales, in 2017. Dr Lim is also an accredited family physician in the family physician register maintained by the college of family physicians. He is HeartlandHealth’s Medical Director (Regulatory/Quality).
Dr Lim worked many years in the polyclinic and also rotated to various departments in different hospitals before deciding to go into the private sector. He has vast experience in managing different patient conditions ranging from new born issues to geriatric issues.
He is also able to perform minor surgical procedures such as incision and drainage, removal of simple lump and bumps, repair of lacerations and joint injections competently.
Dr Lim believes in service with a smile, and will do his utmost best to take care of your medical needs.
Dr Chin Yuin Cheng graduated from the National University of Singapore and she obtained her Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) in 2019. She is HeartlandHealth’s Medical Director (Operations). Her areas of interest are long-term patient care as well as treatment of conditions of the hand and upper limb, including surgical intervention. Currently, she practices at HeartlandHealth New Upper Changi.
